Women’s underwear OEM and private label
Women’s underwear runs across a wider construction range than any other category we work in, and most of it is decided before the first sample rather than after it: the rise, the gusset construction, the waistband, and whether the brief is cut-and-sewn or seamless. Xiamen Unitex Trade Co., Ltd. programmes the category through partner factories in the Xiamen–Quanzhou–Jinjiang knitwear cluster, holding the specification, the QC standard and the ship date. The partner factories hold an amfori BSCI audit position and use OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified fabrics. We own no production facility.
What the category covers
Bikini and hipster
Cotton jersey, modal and viscose, with lace trims where the lace is sourced to the same OEKO-TEX Standard 100 requirement as the body fabric. Rise, leg opening and back coverage are pattern decisions rather than fabric ones, so they are the first thing to fix.
Seamless and bonded
Circular-knit and laser-cut constructions with bonded edges and no side seam. The trade is that a seamless brief needs a cylinder size rather than a cutting spread, so a wide size range costs more to run at small quantities. Branding on a seamless style is a heat-transfer or print rather than a woven label, because a sewn label reintroduces the seam the construction exists to remove.
Hipsters and boyshorts
Higher rise, fuller back coverage. Graded from the same block as the brief with the rise and front panel re-cut, and available with a control panel where the construction and the fabric both change.
Thongs and G-strings
Cotton gusset as standard, with strap width and waistband height as pattern dimensions you can specify. Approval on this construction matters more than on a brief, because the same pattern behaves differently once the elastic is under tension.
Lace and lace-trimmed
Lace-trimmed cotton, all-lace and lace-panel constructions. Lace is where a small difference in ground density or elasticity shows up most, which is why colour matching and wash testing are settled on the sample rather than inferred from a swatch.

Quality control
One standard across every partner factory: fabric checked before cutting, in-line checks during production, a golden sample sealed and signed before bulk, final inspection at AQL 2.5 Level II against that sample, and a packing and pre-shipment confirmation. On women’s styles the in-line checkpoints that catch the most are the gusset join, the waistband tension and the lace colour match.
Minimum order, sampling and lead times

- Sampling: counter samples 7–10 days from stock fabric; fully custom development 12–18 days from colour confirmation

Buyer checklist
- Name the construction first — brief, bikini, hipster, boyshort, thong or seamless — because they are not interchangeable.
- Fix the rise, leg opening and back coverage before sampling rather than after the fitting sample is approved.
- For seamless styles, state the size range early: it sets how many cylinder sizes the factory has to run.
- State the gusset and lining specification on the tech pack rather than assuming a default.
- Approve the lace colour match and wash behaviour on the sample, not from a swatch.
- Decide woven label or heat-transfer at sampling, because the waistband construction has to allow for it.
- Send the size range with the measurements behind it, and say whether it extends into larger sizes.
