Our Story
Xiamen Unitex Trade Co., Ltd. is a Chinese underwear sourcing and supply-chain company working on OEM & ODM programmes for global brands. Incorporated in Xiamen in 2013 by Will Lin — in the apparel and textile trade since 2004, with the company’s own underwear export operations dating from 2009 — Unitex was built on a simple mission: quality goods deserve reasonable prices for customers abroad.
Will Lin graduated with a major in Textile Industry and International Trade and entered the apparel and textile trade in 2004, working on underwear exports from the start. Years of serving international clients led to a realization: by selecting and managing the partner factories that produce each order, both quality and competitive pricing could be achieved. Unitex was incorporated to make that vision a reality.
Unitex works out of Xiamen, on the coast of Fujian Province in south-east China, and sources from the knitwear cluster that runs through Xiamen, Quanzhou and Jinjiang — one of the densest underwear production corridors in the world. A liaison office inside the Jinjiang factory district has been staffed since 2013, so our own merchandisers and QC staff are on the factory floor every working day rather than managing the province from a desk. Orders ship FOB Xiamen, with EXW Xiamen standard for Russia and the CIS.

Our Partner Factories
Unitex is not a manufacturer and does not present itself as one. What we are is the layer between a brand’s tech pack and the production sites that can make it: we choose the right partner factory for each programme, hold the specification and the QC checkpoints, and stay accountable for the delivery date. Buyers who have been burned by an underwear manufacturer in China that subcontracted their order without saying so tend to find that arrangement reassuring rather than inconvenient.
