Partner Factories
One specialty, done well: knit underwear.
The partner factories we work with in Southeast China are purpose-built for knitted underwear and sleepwear — flatlock, coverstitch and bartack stations organized in modular lines that switch between boxer briefs in the morning and pajama sets in the afternoon.
Modular lines mean we absorb both 1,000-piece trial orders and 100,000-piece programs without treating either as an inconvenience.

At Unitex, we manage the entire underwear production lifecycle. Working with long-term partner factories in Fujian, every step is quality-controlled and documented. BSCI, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 compliant materials, partner factories BSCI-audited.
Step 1: Design & Sampling (7–10 Days)
Share your design ideas, tech pack, or reference sample. Our design team creates lab dips, printing proofs, accessories samples, and fitting samples within 7–10 days.
Step 2: Material Sourcing & Inspection
We source OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified fabrics: Cotton Jersey, Cotton/Elastane Jersey, Cotton Rib, Modal, Viscose, and Polyester Knitting. Every fabric batch is inspected before production.
Step 3: Bulk Production

Step 4: Quality Control & Inspection
15-person Inspection Department conducts quality checks at every stage. 6-person Finishing Department handles trimming, ironing, and presentation. Needle monitoring and metal detection on all garments.
Step 5: Packaging & Global Delivery
25-person Packing Department handles retail-ready packaging. Shipments depart from Xiamen Port with full documentation.

Minimum order quantities
MOQ exists because every new style carries a fixed set-up cost — dyeing minimums, cutting changeover, line set-up and a pre-production sample. Trial orders are priced slightly higher per piece, with bulk pricing agreed up front.

Plan backwards from your launch date. Chinese New Year adds 2–3 weeks of closure, so for goods in your warehouse by 1 March, place the purchase order by mid-December and start sampling in late November. Quotations are valid for 30 days.
Repeat orders typically run faster than new styles once the blocks and fabrics are approved; new-style programmes need the full window because fabric development and fit rounds come first.
Quality control at each stage
- Before bulk: fabric inspection (weight, shrinkage, colour continuity) and PPS approval.
- During bulk: inline checks at cutting, sewing and finishing; first-off approval on each line.
- Before shipment: AQL 2.5 inspection — quantity, workmanship, measurements, packing, barcode scan test.
- Testing: composition, colourfastness, dimensional stability, pilling and market-specific tests through third-party labs.

Who we are
Xiamen Unitex Trade Co., Ltd. is an OEM & ODM underwear sourcing and supply-chain management company based in Xiamen, China — in the trade since 2009 and incorporated in 2013. We manage the whole order chain: fabric selection, sampling, bulk production follow-up, inspection and export shipping, working with long-term partner factories in Fujian Province. Those partner factories are BSCI-audited once a year and hold OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification; certificates are provided at quotation stage.
