Pyjamas and sleepwear OEM
Sleepwear is the category where the fabric decision matters more than the style decision, because a pyjama set is worn against the skin for eight hours and washed more often than almost anything else in the wardrobe. Xiamen Unitex Trade Co., Ltd. programmes pyjama sets, sleepshirts, nightgowns and loungewear through partner factories in the Xiamen–Quanzhou–Jinjiang knitwear cluster, from lightweight summer cotton to winter flannel. The partner factories hold an amfori BSCI audit position and use OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified fabrics. In the trade since 2009, incorporated in Xiamen in 2013; we own no production facility.
What the category covers
Men’s pyjama sets
Short-sleeve and long-sleeve sets in combed cotton, modal and flannel, in plain dye, yarn-dyed check or stripe, and print. The decisions that matter most are the fabric weight and the trouser construction — elasticated, drawcord, or both — because those set how the set behaves after repeated washing.
Women’s pyjamas, sleepshirts and nightgowns
Cotton sets, silk-like modal sleepshirts, nightgowns and loungewear, with lace trim or piping where the style calls for it. Modal and viscose give the cooler, smoother hand that sells into the higher end of the category; cotton holds its shape longer at the price points below it.
Loungewear and family matching
Two-piece loungewear, robes, and family-matching programmes where one design runs across adult and children’s size ranges. Family sets need the children’s compliance position settled separately — see the kids’ category — because the size band changes the testing that applies.

Compliance note for children’s nightwear
Where a range includes children’s nightwear, flammability and labelling requirements apply that do not apply to adult sleepwear, and the applicable standard depends on the destination market. We treat that as a separate requirement settled before sampling rather than as part of the general order. If your range runs from adults into children’s sizes, tell us at the enquiry so the two tracks are set up together rather than discovered at the sample stage.

Quality control
The same five checkpoints as every other order: fabric checked before cutting, in-line checks during production, a golden sample sealed and signed before bulk, final inspection at AQL 2.5 Level II against that sample, and a packing and pre-shipment confirmation. On sleepwear the checkpoints that catch the most are the shrinkage behaviour of the fabric and the match at the yarn-dyed join, because both show up after the first wash rather than before it.
Minimum order, sampling and lead times
- MOQ: 600 sets per style is the volume at which the fabric becomes buyable. A set is two garments’ worth of material and two sets of operations, which is why the count reads lower than a piece count — but it is an ideal-case floor, not a promise. Below it the material cannot be sourced; at it, colour count and machine loading still decide. Confirmed per programme
- Sampling: counter samples 7–10 days from stock fabric; fully custom development 12–18 days from colour confirmation
- Bulk: 45–60 days after pre-production sample approval and deposit; repeats from stock fabric 30–40 days
- Payment: 30% T/T deposit, 70% against copy of B/L; L/C at sight for larger programmes
- Trade term: FOB Xiamen; quotations valid 30 days

Send the reference, the fabric and weight you have in mind, the size range you sell, the destination market and its label language.
