Warmth, Shrinkage & the Seasonal Clock
Thermal is a seasonal, fabric-led programme: warmth comes from knit structure and brushing, and shrinkage control is the make-or-break spec on cotton-rich knits. We confirm shrinkage and spirality test results before bulk and plan production slots early for autumn-winter deliveries. Cold-climate programmes for Russia and Northern Europe are an established part of our export record.
Warmth is engineered, not thickened: interlock and waffle knits trap air in the structure, and brushing raises the inner surface for insulation. Heavier fleece-lined builds suit cold-climate markets, while cotton-rich interlocks serve milder winters — we agree the fabric build at sampling and hold it through bulk.
The calendar matters as much as the fabric: autumn-winter deliveries need production slots booked early, and we plan sampling backwards from your shipping window so shrinkage and spirality results are approved before bulk cutting.
Kids’ thermal carries the same documentation as our kids’ underwear: drawstring-free construction, secure trims and per-market compliance files are standard on thermal sets too.
Fabric sourcing for thermal starts early in the year: interlock and waffle knits are booked ahead of the autumn-winter cutting window, and brushing intensity is approved on the pre-production sample rather than on a flat fabric swatch.
