Leg Opening & Inseam: The Trunk Fit
Trunks live or die by leg opening: too tight rides up, too loose bags out. We lock leg-opening elastic tension and inseam length at the pre-production sample and keep the measurement chart on file for every reorder.
Waistband height defines how the style reads: trunks sit lower on the waist than boxer briefs, so waistband width and rise are set together on the block. Jacquard and printed waistbands are both available, and the elastic hand is matched to the fabric weight so the band does not overpower a light body.
For performance lines we move to cotton-spandex or moisture-wicking blends and test recovery at the leg opening after washing — a trunk that bags out after repeated washes is the return reason we engineer against.
Unitex runs its own liaison office in Jinjiang, on the ground inside the Fujian knitwear cluster, handling order follow-up, QC and factory audits.
