Many suppliers claim certifications they don’t hold. Here’s how to independently verify OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and BSCI certifications before placing your OEM underwear order.
OEKO-TEX Verification
- Step 1: Ask for the certificate number (format: XX.0.XXXXX).
- Step 2: Visit the OEKO-TEX Label Check portal at oeko-tex.com/en/label-check.
- Step 3: Verify the certificate is valid, matches the company name, and covers your product categories.
BSCI Verification
- Step 1: Request the BSCI audit report (not just the certificate).
- Step 2: Check the audit date — our partner factories are audited annually, so the report should be dated within the last 12 months.
- Step 3: Verify the audit result (A, B, or C grade) and the factory address matches.
